Our Ministries

Go Therefore and Make Disciples

We believe that if we are going to reach the lost and hurting, we have to do what the disciples did in the early church. They went to where the people were.

Throughout each week, we are present in the inner city communities ministering to the needs of the people.

  • Safe Haven gym program averaging 50-60 at-risk young people each week. We teach life skills, mentor, shoot hoops and provide meals.
  • Candlelight vigils for those who have lost loved ones through violence
  • School and home visits
  • Tent revivals
  • Nursing home ministry
  • Second chance program for men and women coming out of incarceration
  • Food and clothing outreach
  • Family counseling where people can learn to become valuable assets to our communities
  • 24/7 help line for those who need someone to listen

Ministry Spotlight:
Safe Haven Empowerment House

Safe Haven recently celebrated it's grand opening! It is a place where young men needing a refuge from their situations can come and be ministered to with the love of Jesus. There is no condemnation, no judgment, just an understanding ear and a safe place. Safe Haven is a residential facility as well with the ability to shelter up to 8 young men at a time.

Love Your Neighbor Day

Love Your Neighbor Day on Saturdays is a very special time when we are out ministering in local communities, meeting the needs of the people in spirit and body. We have a prayer tent, a food table and materials from the Word of God.

"You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
- Mark 22:39

Touching the lives of people with the love of Jesus through witnessing on the street is near to our hearts.

Often we partner with other ministries to reach the lost and broken hearted on the streets.

We are passionate about reaching folks at their homes, on the street, in parking lots...wherever we can find them.

We'll go wherever the Holy Spirit leads us to minister the Gospel of Jesus.

Tent revivals are a great way to reach lots of people in an area with the Word of God and the love of Jesus.

Safe Haven Gym

Our Safe Haven Gym program averages 50-60 at-risk young people each week. We teach life skills, mentor, shoot hoops and provide meals.

Young people from all walks of life come for fellowship, fun and food!

Ministry to the Homeless

Living life homeless presents so many challenges. As often as we are able, World United can be found ministering to the needs of those without homes. We bring water, blankets, clothing and food and share the love of a Savior who can change every life.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

- Matthew 28:19-20
